Site visits organised by Globe and SMART
G-Xchange and SMART - the world's first mobile money issuers will provide you with an experiential insight to their pioneering products. Mobile money accounts will be created for registered delegates, who will be treated to a full day out, visiting attractions where GCASH and SMART Money are accepted.

08.30 - 13.30  GXI field visit: behind the scenes of a mobile money issuer
Mobile money enthusiasts will gain exclusive access to GXI's headquarters and learn about:

  • How GXI is set up
  • The strengths of being a mobile money issuer subsidiary
  • The history of GCASH
  • KYC, AML, and security features
  • Creating mobile money ecosystems - strategies that work for customers, large and small merchants, utility companies, bank and MFI partners

Participants will also be transported to a variety of locations to test GCASH, including PR Bank Ortigas Branch, Greenhills Shopping Center and a Globe Business Center.
All participants must send a copy of their passport and drivers license or other national ID in advance in order to receive Globe SIMS with GCASH menu.

14.30 - 18.00  The SMART m-Commerce experience
The afternoon will be spent taking part in exciting activities to help you understand a range of customer use cases for SMART Money. The session will begin with a short preliminary orientation followed by a two hour Smart Money Adventure Programme that will consist of the actual use of SMART Money tools, including SMART SIMs and SMART MONEY wallet across SMART's various customer segments. By the end of the programme, participants will convene at a designated site and the speakers will discuss and address questions related to the key factors that affect the implementation of mobile money programmes.
NOTE:
1. Only pre-registered participants who have submitted a complete application form can join the SMART Money Adventure programme.
2. Information on the pre-registration form is FINAL and NO CHANGES can be made once submitted.
3. Deadline for submission is 5 working days before the start of the conference. Application forms received during the session will not be entertained.
4. Only two IDs are acceptable for this exercise - employment ID or passport ID
DISCLAIMER:
Participants may continue using the SMART SIMs used for this exercise; however, the SMART Money accounts created for this exercise will be surrendered back to the facilitators and rendered VOID at the end of the workshop.
